If you want to drive to Milledgeville to shop or enjoy restaurants there, you are 37 miles away (shorter by boat). We are definitely a great escape away from the hustle and bustle. We usually like to get most if not all of our groceries on the way into the property. The neighboring cities from all directions have various stores to do so.
